Instructor Antonio D. Goodwin

Antonio D. Goodwin is the owner and Head Instructor of the HwaRangDo West L.A. Academy after his master, Grandmaster Taejoon Lee, handed it down to him in 2012. Inst. Goodwin is a 2nd Dan HwaRangDo Black Sash and has over a decade of experience in training and teaching HwaRangDo.

Inst. Goodwin is a direct student of Grandmaster Taejoon Lee and has trained under him for over 12 years. Inst. Goodwin was even requested to be featured with him on a recent cover of Black Belt Magazine.

Inst. Goodwin was won numerous Grand Champion titles in sparring, grappling and weapon fighting and has also on been a member of several Champion Teams including the USA Team during 2011 World Championships held in Rome, Italy. He is one of the first back-to-back winners of the highly coveted Hwarang Of The Year (2012, 2013) given to best overall competitor of the HwaRangDo World Championships.
